Julia Who?

The Early Years
It all started when a relative gave Julia the insider information on training successful hunting dogs. Living in the big city and not being a hunter she turned her focus to the social environment of dog packs, (which basically means that she was hanging out in the park all day long to observe dogs interacting with each other). Being the dog lover she is, she loved to take care of all kinds of dogs, in all sizes. It didn't take long before her friends gave her the nickname Dr. Doolittle.

The Following Years
Unlike Dr. Doolittle she didn't become a vet, only because she has a hard time working with physically suffering animals. Instead, she went on to get her hotel management degree and later became a successful event planner. To balance her high-stress job she always kept a few doggy clients. Over the years she helped numerous dogs overcome fearful behavior, socialized timid dogs and successfully turned obese dogs into healthy K9's.

Then
Realizing that even though she enjoys event planning, she's never been 100% full filled. A time-out and some soul searching revealed the obvious: Julia should turn her hobby into a business.

Now
In January 2008 Julia exchanged her designer suits & high heels for knickerbockers and hiking shoes.
Hollywood On A Leash was born and with it two other wonderful programs: the K9 Matchmaker and the Doggy Fat Farm.

Julia is enjoying a quiet, happy life with her husband and their two dogs in Studio City, CA.
